Captain Rob previously served in the US Marine Corps as a presidential guard so youre most definitely in safe hands when at sea with this experienced sailor. Chef may has recently joined OCEANFRONT PROPERTY, and comes with a wealth of gastronomic knowledge on worldwide delights- she graduated the prestigious Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland and hopes to continue to broaden her knowledge as a sommelier. Both Rob and Maya are passionate about what they do and that is evident in the excellent reviews left by previous guests aboard OCEANFRONT PROPERTY.

OCEANFRONT PROPERTY can embark guests in St Thomas, very close to the Cyril E King airport which removes the need to catch a ferry to meet your embarkation. Alternatively, embark on the island of Tortola and discover the highlights of the Virgin Islands on our BVI 7-Day crewed catamaran itinerary.

The Charter Fee includes the services of a Captain and Crew, meals, standard ship’s bar, fuel, cruising taxes and permits, and all expenses related to running of the vessel and use of on-board sports equipment. The charter fee does not include (optional) crew gratuities, premium beverages and fine wines, excessive alcoholic consumption, off yacht excursions, dockage, telephone, airport transfers or similar expense incurred by the Charterer.
Crew gratuity is between 15% and 20% of the charter fee at your discretion.

My family and I just finished a one week charter on Oceanfront Property recommended by Boatbookings who were professional and know their crews very well. Captain Rob Hyson and Chef Leala Simich, in addition to being truly exceptional at their jobs, are just great people to spend a week with. Both have a gift for connecting with people of all ages. Captain Rob brings skill, confidence, humour, a flair for story-telling and excellent customer service with just the right balance of authority when necessary. Chef Leala fed us like royalty. The meals were delicious and the presentation was beautiful. She also never missed a mooring, led us on hikes, provided great conversation and generally charmed all of us with her very real warmth. In spite of all their hard work to make our trip special, both Leala and Rob were always upbeat and lots of fun to be around. They made it all look easy, but we know better.
