We had the best vacation on Tedavi. Finlay and Rose were outstanding. The food was spectacular and Finlay was incredibly knowledgeable and always made us feel extremely comfortable all while showing us a fabulous time! Tedavi is a beautiful boat…perfection! We will definitely sail again!
I chartered through Boatbookings the 80’ Sunreef Catamaran Seaclusion, July 1st through the 8th for a BVI cruise. The Yacht is outstanding, three years old well equipped and beautifully appointed. The occasion was our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We brought the family, eight of us, including our three Grandchildren, 8,6 and 4. I knew it would be first class. But we had no idea of the level of service and hospitality we would receive. We were blown away. I attribute this in large measure to the leadership of Captain Tony.
Tony and his wife, Kate, have sailed the BVI’s on yachts, separate and together for many years. He knows the islands like the proverbial back of his hand. Kate is a gourmet chef. When I say gourmet I mean high end, five star gourmet. And everything she serves from breakfast through lunch and dinner is served with a truly warm smile and a good measure of cheer.
Tony demonstrated his ability as a Yacht Captain by providing the glue for a crew, with the exception of his wife Kate, who had not sailed together before. He made it appear as if they had spent many seasons together which gave our family the feeling of security which all who charter desire. The crew worked together seamlessly and with a smile the entire time. And each of them were attentive to our needs, and especially the needs of the small children who seemed to be in the water all the time.

Our trip was wonderful. Such a beautiful place and Indi was the perfect captain. He was so great at keeping everyone entertained but had a good balance of letting us hang as a family as well. We have been on a few boats and he really was the best captain we have had.

The experience was amazing, and my family really enjoyed the day! My wife did get a little seasick, but Caroline and Chris immediately offered medicine which worked well. Please convey directly to the owner of Sea Story that our charter on his beautiful yacht was nothing short of sublime. While Sea Story is a magnificent vessel in every way, far more important was her crew.
I really can not begin to describe how great JT and I thought they performed. Every need, wish and desire was met with an immediate and perfect response. What made this charter so special was the combination of the entire crew working as one perfectly synchronized team while simultaneously demonstrating each crew members wonderful professionalism. Captain Joan was superb. His keen attention to our safety and comfort was most appreciated. He is a real pro and the owner is very lucky to have him as the master of the Sea Story. We were beyond pleased regarding his suggestions for our itinerary - in reality he was nothing short of perfect.
The chef, Christian, expertly prepared the most amazing dishes. Our breakfasts, lunches and dinners deserve a FIVE-STAR rating. His humble nature and "eager to please" attitude were also very much appreciated. Milena, our stewardess, was fantastic. Engaging and thoughtful, she was on top of every need and, in most cases, anticipated our requests ahead of time. Her kind-heartedness and politeness were noticed and appreciated. Finally, our deck hand and bartender Augusto was a rock star. His willingness to go above and beyond make him an immeasurable asset to the crew and, therefore, to us as guests. Funny and personable he was also great helping us with the jet skis and Sea Bobs. As a bartender, he makes a fantastic Old Fashioned as well as a Raspberry Smash.
Again, individually and collectively, the Sea Story crew were incredible. This charter was magical and, without question, was the best vacation we have ever experienced and it was due to the crew of the Sea Story.
I will go out of my way to recommend Boatbookings as a yacht charter broker and, specifically, the Sea Story and her first rate crew.
